Yummy Shampoo!!

I LOVE Clairol Herbal Essences because it's affordable, gives out a great scent, and works for my hair! I'm using the blue one, Hello Hydration, and using it (especially with the shampoo) does make my hair much less dryer and shinier.
Total bargain buy, this product!

Hair Care Tips!

I was going through this beauty website : http://www.beautytipshub.com/hair-care/ and I found some really good hair tips which I thought I'd share with you guys :)

* Massage your scalp regularly with oil. Oils like jojoba oil, almond oil are good for nourishing hair follicles.
* Try to use hair care products which contain components like fenugreek, camphor, shikakai, mustard or hibiscus petals. You can also prepare a hair oil with natural ingredients at home.
* Massage your hair with castor oil and wrap your hair with a steam towel.
* Add a little lemon juice and ground fenugreek seeds to your oil to take care of dandruff. Lemon will also add luster to your hair.
* Use Hair Products provided by nature like henna or mehendi once a week. It is a very good hair conditioner and a natural hair dye too.
* Shampoo your hair at least once a week with a mild shampoo.

Have fun!

Sunsilk

Sunsilk is a nice name.
Makes you think of bright sunshine and silky hair.
Lots of advertising goes into it..we see ads with girls with long swishy hair beaming into the camera.
Anyway.
This product is really horrendous on me.
The shampoo and conditioner do nothing but tangle my hair up. Basically the shampoo REALLY tangles my hair up, while the conditioner is powerless to detangle it.
The leave in conditioner is not so bad though, if you're looking for something light to tame flyaways.
They have those hair masks nowadays..those are all right too if you have dry hair that needs nourishing.
But you can't really complain too much, because it's really at such an affordable price.

Beauty Tip Of The Day

I just wanted to share this beauty tip which I read online at this website :
http://www.beautyorbust.net/?cat=15

This is the tip :

” To cover up a particularly large zit, simply use a black eyeliner to draw over it and turn it into a beauty spot!” Steph

I think it is an extremely bad tip! What if your zit is on your nose or something?

You Need A Clarifying Shampoo

Yes, you do.
Every human being on this planet needs a clarifying shampoo.
What's a clarifying shampoo, you ask?
Well, basically it's a shampoo which you're supposed to use either once a week or once a month - depending on how much hair products you apply to your hair. DON'T use it every day, or it'll strip your hair of all the natural oils that it has and you'll be left with dry hay for hair.
You need to use it to get rid of product residue and product buildup that inevitably happens in your hair - be it whether because you use a lot of hair products, or because your normal shampoo and conditioner leaves its residue on your hair.
Lesson over.
So!
What's a good clarifying shampoo, you ask?
I really like Redken's Hair Cleansing Cream - it really removes all that crap and gunk that's on your hair.
(If you use a lot of gel and hairspray, you really MUST have a clarifying shampoo.)
Or, if you don't feel like spending too much on a shampoo, you can opt for the Tresemme Deep Cleansing Shampoo - available at any Watsons or Guardians! It doesn't really clean as well as the Redken one, but its not bad, especially for its price :)
So if you haven't washed your hair with a clarifying shampoo yet..my my there's a lifetime's worth of buildup on your hair!
So go out and get one now :)
